After many years working as an interior designer within the Shopfitting industry
I began working for myself in August 2007, trading as Muir Interiors.
Previously I was employed for 10 years as a Senior Interior Designer with Barbour Shopfitters and before that for 8 years as an interior designer with Dollar Rae.
With my interior design experience specifically Shopfitting design and the contacts made within this particular industry, I felt the time was right to start MY own interior design business, my service is aimed at independent retailers as well as customers from the leisure industry, professional home owners and property investors.
A lot of clients don’t want to pay large agency fees but at the same time want a more specialized service than is available at a lot of the bigger Shopfitting & Design companies. After working for large companies, I decided I wanted to create something small where I will offer a friendly but professional personal service which will allow me to spend time understanding my client’s needs.
